Yes, it is safe and generally advisable to take live cultures daily. Good bacteria colonise in the gut for a few weeks but research1,2,3 suggests that the good bacteria strains will not persist in the gut without regular supplementation, so for this reason you might wish to take them regularly.
This depends on why you are taking them: some people like to take specific strains at certain times, for example during pregnancy, when travelling abroad, or during the winter flu season. However, if you prefer general daily supplementation, then take your supplements every day. There is no current research to suggest the body becomes dependent on good bacteria, so long-term supplementation is also fine.

Following the taxonomic updates advised by a global team of scientists and published in April 2020, a reclassification has been proposed for the rhamnosus species. The rhamnosus strain in 'For every day' may therefore now also be known as Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus Rosell-11.

Need help choosing a product?I am surprised and amazed at how quickly these probiotics worked. I started taking them for bloating caused by certain foods and within a few weeks the bloating had stopped.
This product causes me severe bloating. Not for everyone unfortunately.
I have tried 3 courses of "For every day" probiotics without any noticeable effect whatsoever, unfortunately. The sachets (expensive) sprinkled on breakfast cereal taste good and the company deal well with the orders, so two stars for that.
