In-Store Product Advisor - Weekends

OptiBac Probiotics are looking to recruit an In-Store Product Advisor to support some of our top accounts in London. This role is for week-ends only, although occasional work during the week may be required.

Company Description
Wren Laboratories is a family-run business based in Weyhill, near Andover, Hampshire. We specialise entirely in probiotic supplements and produce the OptiBac Probiotics range, which is extremely well researched and targets individual health conditions and needs. The range is primarily sold to independent health food shops and pharmacies in the UK, and in select international countries, as well as direct to individual consumers via our online shop. The OptiBac Probiotics team could be described as close-knit, enthusiastic, mutually supportive and dedicated.

Job Description

  • Advise about our products to the consumer in an in-store situation, mainly in health food shops
  • Write notes after each visit
  • Support and communicate with the London Sales Team
  • Report directly to the London Sales Team Leader
  • Occasional participation in consumer shows
  • Occasional travel to the head office in Hampshire
  • Manage own admin and expenses


  • A Degree or Diploma in a relevant complementary healthcare discipline (e.g.: Nutrition, Nutritional Therapy, Naturopathy, Herbalism, etc.…) or being a student in the Nutrition field is advantageous.

Qualities & Experience


  • Significant experience in sales and customer service
  • Self-motivated, hardworking and sales driven


  • Experience as a Sales Representative
  • Experience in the Health Foods Industry
  • Good understanding of probiotics and prebiotics

Hours, Salary, Start date

  • 16 hours per week (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
  • As soon as possible

Office Cleaner

Location: to be based in Andover

The primary function of this role is to carry out various cleaning activities in the offices and meeting rooms, to a high standard of cleanliness.

Tasks & Responsibilities

The role is varied and tasks include the following:

  • Polishing all desks, filing cabinets and units.
  • Anti-bac wipe all chair handles, keyboards and telephones
  • Polish window ledges
  • Anti-bac, polish and lightly hoover both treadmills
  • Empty both recycling and general waste bins, replacing bin liners where needed
  • Clear shelving units, polish and replace items
  • Anti-bac and polish stair hand rails
  • Vacuum the office space and meeting rooms, including skirting boards
  • Empty the shredding machine and dispose of the contents
  • Vacuum under floor mats
  • Vacuum all chair seats
  • Anti-bac light switches and water- cooler
  • Check for cob-webs
  • Check cleaning products stock level
  • Notify management of any repairs required

Essential Experience

  • Previous office cleaning roles
  • Key holder experience


  • COSH training preferred but not essential

Hours, Salary & Start date

  • Permanent position, part time
  • Monday to Friday 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm (10 hours per week)
  • Immediate start in January 2020
  • Living wage foundation hourly rate of pay
  • Ability to commute to Weyhill daily essential
  • Ability to work additional hours for holiday cover
