Latest CAM webinar - The gut-brain axis in neuropsychiatric disorders

Sarah Oboh hosted a CPD accredited webinar in association with IHCAN magazine on Tuesday, 17th October.

1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health issue and the prevalence is rising. One of the key mechanisms implicated in mental health disorders is the gut-brain axis which connects our mental health, wellbeing, and behaviour to our microbial profile – and research suggests the gut microbiome may play a part in the development and progression of neuropsychiatric disorders. During this webinar, Sarah will explore the complex relationship between the gut microbiome and neuropsychiatric disorders, and will discuss how practitioners might support these conditions in practice.

You can access the recording of this webinar here: The gut-brain axis in neuropsychiatric disorders
