We’re absolutely delighted to welcome a brand-new addition to our range, and you’ll notice that it also has a brand-new look!
Our fantastic Kids Gummies supplement offers a sneak peek of our new Optibac packaging and branding, which will be rolled out across the whole range over this coming year.
This new design was created with you – our customers – in mind. We know just how much you value your health, as well as the health of our planet. It is important to us at OptiBac that we positively contribute to our environment, which will now be achieved through our new eco-friendly packaging.
We care about our world and have worked hard to reduce the plastic in our products, and we’re committed to making further improvements wherever we can. So, the first thing you’ll notice is that we are switching from plastic containers to using glass bottles with aluminium lids, which allow for wider recycling without compromising the viability of the delicate friendly bacteria. Our Optibac glass bottles will be housed in FSC approved recyclable cardboard, and our ‘Kids Gummies’ - unlike almost every other Kids Gummy on the market - come in a 100% plastic-free using a home compostable inner pouch.
We've worked hard to ensure that we look as good on the outside as we are on the inside, elevating the brand design to look more modern and scientific, without losing our signature rainbow colour scheme. Our fresh new look comes with a change to our suitability messaging with clear, easy to understand icons instead of the old ticks. Due to the size of the icons, we were unable to transfer all the ticks over to our new packs, but you can check the suitability of all our products on the website product pages.
You’ll notice that our logo is having a bit of a revamp too. We are simplified things by sticking to ‘Optibac’ as our brand name, removing the upper-case B that some of you have told us you find a little odd, or difficult to read. We hope this rolls off the tongue a little more smoothly!
We are very proud to have been named as the UK & Ireland’s most recommended brand of friendly bacteria, by retailers, health professionals and consumers like yourselves - so we have a new tagline under the logo, ‘trusted friendly bacteria’, to reflect this.
With the environment in mind, we want to avoid any unnecessary waste during this process, so we’ve chosen to gradually update the products as old stocks run out, rather than doing them all at once. This means, for a while, we will have a mixture of old and new branding on our products across the range. Over the coming months, we do kindly ask you to bear with us, as some orders may contain products with a mix of different packaging. If you’re unsure about anything or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
