Stocking Ideas from our Nutrition Team

Jacob Collyer-Smith Lifestyle Writer

Everyone loves a stocking filler right? We've asked some of our nutritional team what they would most like to receive in their stockings this year. Not to our surprise, their responses were incredibly healthy, so if you're looking for something healthy to pop into your loved ones stockings, look no further!

Let's take a look at some of their choices:

Burt's Bees 100% Natural Lip Gloss - Ocean Sunrise

Joanna Lutyens (nutritional therapist):

"I really love how natural the lip gloss feels and it's packed full of nutrients that leave your lips soft and shiny."

Enjoy! - Dark Raw Chocolate

Kerry Beeson (nutritional therapist):
Enjoy! Dark chocolate

"You can't escape being indulgent at Christmas, but if it's dark chocolate there's no need to feel too bad. Dark chocolate is full of antioxidants, and can also contain iron, zinc, magnesium, copper and vitamin C. It's also delicious."

Chi - Coconut Water

Cristina Perrone (nutritional therapist):
Chi Coconut water

"It's perfect for post-party re-hydration, as it's full of electrolytes and potassium."

Stack 52 - The HIIT Game

Sam Andrews (sports nutritionist):
The HIIT Game by Stack 52

"It's a fitness game based on different cards which you can shuffle to create mini workouts. It looks like a good way to work off Christmas dinner and to play a family game that is a bit more active than the old school board games!"

Nature's Harvest - Turmeric Latte Mix

Veronique Soignot (naturopath):
Nature's Harvest - Turmeric Latte Mix

"Apart from being incredibly trendy at the moment, turmeric is high in anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. This mix from Nature's Harvest is also free from caffeine, gluten, and sugar, as well as suitable for vegans."

Optibac Probiotics - 'One week flat'

Miguel Rodrigues (nutritionist):
Optibac One week flat

"It's an obvious choice, but it's great for those that always overdo it. One week flat is perfect over Christmas, and the 7 day course is also brilliant for those that aren't great at remembering to take something for longer than a week."

Pukka teas - After Dinner

Megan Crowch (naturopath):
Pukka teas - After Dinner

"What about a nice box of tea? Pukka After Dinner is perfect after the Christmas day feast, it contains seven seeds with ginger and fennel - a great post-meal digestif."

There's plenty of great ideas there for healthy stocking fillers, especially if you're still trying to find something for that green smoothie-drinking, #cleanliving loved one in your life.
