Good Things magazine recommends Optibac

The luxury cuisine and travel magazine ‘Good things’ loves our ‘For every day EXTRA Strength’ probiotic.

Good Things

In their feature giving tips on how to maintain good health as we move in to Autumn and Winter they say that taking a probiotic can help, especially if you may have over-indulged a little during the summer holidays! They recommend our ‘For every day EXTRA Strength’ saying:

‘Over-indulged on holiday? A probiotic that introduces more good bacteria back into your gut could help. And if your stomach is happy – your overall health will benefit too’.

We couldn’t agree more. Good health starts in the gut after all, so what simpler way could there be to get yourself glowing both on the inside and out.

Could probiotics help keep your skin healthy?

It is widely understood that increased levels of good bacteria in the gut helps to reduce toxins that can cause skin problems, such as acne, however there are no finished product clinical trials on the use of probiotics for skin health as of yet.

(To find out more about the benefits of probiotics for detoxing, you may like to read my earlier blog post).

We do know however that our gut flora helps us to absorb minerals from our diet, and minerals such as zinc are vital for good skin health. So, whilst we wait for relevant clinical trials to be carried out, I would always recommend a good quality, multi-strain probiotic to support over-all health and well-being.

So, 'thank you' Good Things magazine. We are really pleased that you love our products, and hope that your readers will too.
