Optibac Wins Test Valley Business Award

We're extremely proud to announce that Optibac Probiotics has won the "Small Business of the Year" category, and also came runner-up in the "Innovation & Technology" category, at last night's Test Valley Business Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner. The annual event, which is now in its 9th year, recognises remarkable businesses across the Borough and is designed to help raise their public profile.

Fred Dinenage attended the ceremony as a guest of honour, and commented; "I take my hat off to the businesses here today. Not only do they survive but are prospering in the most difficult of economic times."

Cheryl Dowler-Bettell from the awards' steering group also commented; "These awards are a great opportunity to celebrate local businesses and we are delighted that so many have entered this year. The friendly competition has been extremely tough and being named a finalist is a huge achievement."

I think the judges saw we had achieved good growth over the last few years and that we have a good product, great staff and a philosophy and strategy that comes together to make a good package."
