When you have a little one that's just about to enter the world, you want to give them the best possible start. Keeping them healthy and happy is always on top of the 'to do' list.
We in the OptiBac office know how important it is to keep your loved ones happy. So we're thrilled that this week in 'Mother & Baby', they've not only made an easy step-by-step guide to help maintain your child's health, but they've also recommended our 'For babies & children'!
In an article called 'Boost his immunity', Dr Gergely Toldi discusses the value in taking supplements during pregnancy and after birth.
"Breast milk contains lots of proteins, fats, sugars and antibodies that support your little one's immune system," explains neonatologist Dr Gergely Toldi.
The article provided some other great tips, such as snacking on berries, letting your kids get a bit messy (the current theory is that we're all too clean these days anyway), and reducing sugar intake.
Our 'For babies & children' product was suggested as a supplement to take during breastfeeding. It can be safely taken by pregnant and nursing mothers, as well as babies and children, and it contains high quality, extensively researched strains of friendly bacteria that have been clinically trialled in infants and school-age children to survive to reach the gut alive.
'For babies and children' comes in an easy-to-take powder form. For breastfed babies, powder can be applied to the nipple or clean finger for the baby to suckle, and for babies on formula milk, the powder can be added when it is at room temperature, but not when warmed (as heat reduces the viability of natural bacteria).
Whether your baby is bottle-fed or breastfed, supplements can be a great way to give them the top-up they need in friendly bacteria. We're over the moon to be featured in 'Mother & Baby' and hope that its readers love our product just as much as we do!
