Sasi joined Optibac in 2018 and is a Technical Advisor within the Technical Team.
Sasi is a registered nutritional therapist (rCNHC, mBANT), specialising in gut health. She also has a Food Science degree and earned a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Reading. Her PhD focused mainly on fermentation technology. In her previous academic career, she led research projects on prebiotic and probiotic foods.
Sasi is passionate about the gut microbiome and health connection as she experienced the results first-hand, resolving chronic digestive symptoms by balancing the gut microbiome, alongside personalised nutrition and lifestyle changes.
