Sam holds a BSc in Sport and Exercise Nutrition from Staffordshire University and is one of our longest standing expert author team members, having joined Optibac in 2014. He currently leads the UK Sales Team, managing a dynamic group of 11 Sales and Training Representatives who support our stockists nationwide.
With a passion for health and performance, Sam plays a key role in bringing the Optibac brand to life in retail spaces and beyond. Throughout his time at Optibac, Sam has delivered talks on the microbiome and gut health at various consumer health events across London and Hertfordshire, helping to educate and inspire audiences about the power of friendly bacteria.
Before joining Optibac, Sam worked at the BBC as a personal trainer — combining his scientific background with hands-on experience in fitness and wellbeing.
Unsurprisingly, Sam is a big fan of all things fitness in his spare time — especially weightlifting, which keeps him energised and focused both in and out of work.
