She has directly trained hundreds of healthcare professionals globally, translating complex research into clear, evidence‑based guidance for clinical and consumer audiences.
Kate is a gut microbiologist, having completed a PhD specialising in probiotics and microbiome science, following a BSc in Medical Microbiology. Her academic background, combined with her extensive experience in scientific education, underpins Optibac’s commitment to credible, rigorous, and clinically relevant training.
Deeply passionate about scientific education, Kate regularly represents Optibac across a wide range of training topics, including the role of the microbiome and probiotics in health and wellbeing.
