I have been having long-term problems with constipation since my colonoscopy last July. My consultant at the hospital said that I have a slow digestive system because of my age, but offered no advice on how to gain daily bowel movements. Plus, my doctor would only give me laxatives, which, based on research, can harm the gut and liver with long-term use. I have also recently become bloated in the evening, even though I eat a high-protein, healthy diet with sufficient fibre. This call was life-changing because it was the first time I had someone who was understanding, knowledgeable, a great listener, and empathetic about my condition. We discussed my diet and the various products that should resolve the constipation. Louise also offered me support via email or the option to request another callback in 4 weeks to discuss my progress.
